"Mecailin is a versatile player with tremendous upside," head coach JR Payne said. "She brings toughness, skill, and a strong work ethic that aligns perfectly with our culture. Her ability to impact the game in multiple ways makes her incredibly valuable, and we believe her best basketball is still ahead of her. We're thrilled to welcome her to the Buff family."
Marshall had double-digit points 16 times in the 2025-26 season, as well as two double-doubles – one versus North Texas with 20 points and 10 rebounds (Jan. 10), and the other versus South Florida, where she had 18 points and 11 rebounds (March 7).
