Buffs Wrap Regular Season at Air Force Twilight Open

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado track and field wrapped up regular season competition Friday at the Air Force Twilight Open ahead of next week's Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Amanda Opp led the way for the Buffs, winning the women's hammer throw with one of her top marks of the season at 55.20 meters. Lucas Williams added a pair of fourth-place finishes in the men's throws, recording a 57.13-meter mark in the hammer throw and a 48.36-meter throw in the discus.
The remainder of the Buffs squad has spent the week preparing for postseason competition, which begins May 14–16 at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by University of Arizona.
