2020 (Senior)—A little hampered at the start of the 2020 season, he improved throughout and was performing perhaps the best of his career late in the season.  He finished all 11 races for the Buffs with 10 top 20 and four top 10 finishes, including each of the last three races.  He had one top five, which was his first career podium, taking second at the RMISA Championships in the freestyle race.  He earned second-team All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the freestyle race and was named second-team All-RMISA.  He led the Buffs in three races and was a team scorer in 10 of 11 races, easily earning his third letter. He opened the season with a 12th place freestyle and 21st place classic finishes in Steamboat Springs at the CU Invitational and then moved up to finish 12th in the classic and seventh in the freestyle race at the DU Invitational, where he actually had the fourth-fastest time in the field but it was a pursuit race.  He did have the highest jump from the classic finish in the entire field for the pursuit race.  At the RMISA Nordic Qualifiers, he took 11th in both races, the second being the famous Owl Creek Chase, a 21K race from Aspen to Snowmass.  At Soldier Hollow, he finished 16th in the freestyle and 12th in the classic races.  He was at his best in the postseason, finishing second in the freestyle race at the RMISA Championships, his first career podium and just 22.8 seconds away from his first win, and he took sixth in the classic race the next day.  At the NCAA Championships, he finished sixth earning a second-team All-America honor before the championship was cancelled shortly after the freestyle race due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  He earned his third straight mention on the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team for maintaining above a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and participating in Regionals.

2019 (Sophomore)—He skied in 11of 12 races in 2019 and has nine top 20 performances and four top 10s, all in freestyle races. He has his second and third best career freestyle finishes in 2019, taking sixth in the 10K freestyle at Montana State and then having his second career top five in fifth at the RMISA Championships in Alaska.  He tied for eighth in the 10K freestyle in the CU Invitational at Steamboat Springs.  He took 11th at the classic race at New Mexico before sitting out the freestyle race the next day.  He earned mention on the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski team for the second straight season.

2018 (Freshman)—He earned two second-team All-America honors in his first season as a Buff when he finished seventh in the 10K classic race and 10th in the 20K freestyle at the 2018 NCAA Championships … Also garnered second-team All-RMISA honors … In 10 races, he finished in the top 10 eight times … Best finish on the season was a fourth place showing in the 10K classical race at the Montana State Invite, which was the very first race of his collegiate career … Top freestyle showing was a sixth place finish that he recorded at both the Utah (10K) and New Mexico (5K) meets

Prior to CU—He finished third at the 2013 Norwegian Junior National Championships in the 15K skate and had another podium finish in 2014 at the same junior national championships, this time in the biathlon … In 2017 he placed fifth in the 30K skate at the U23 Norwegian National Championships and that same year in a FIS race at Aasen, Norway, he placed 10th in the same event.
