2021: Indoor: Ran twice for the Buffs, finishing his season with a first-place win in the 4x400 relay at the Razorback Invitational.
Outdoor: Did not compete.

2020: Indoor: Ran a personal best of 48.10 in the 400 at the Colorado Invitational ... Placed 17th in the event at the MPSF Championships ... Ran on every 4x400 relay with a season-best time of 3:10.96.
Outdoor: Canceled due to COVID-19

2019: Indoor: Competed in numerous 400s and 4x400-meter relays that included a win at the Colorado Running Company Mountain Lion Open ... Placed 25th at MPSF in the 400 at 49.34 seconds.
Outdoor: Switched to the 400 hurdles where he finished his season 13th at the Pac-12 Championships ... Was a part of the 4x400-meter relay team that ran at the NCAA West Preliminaries.

2018: Indoor: Hoy spent his first indoor season competing in the 400-meter dash. He raced four times for the Buffs, recording his best time of 49.43 at the Potts Invitational in January.
Outdoor: During his first outdoor season Hoy specialized in the 400-meter hurdles. He won the Colorado School of Mines Kit Mayer Invite in April with a time of 54.30. At the Pac-12 Championships, Hoy brought home 4th place in the preliminary round, clocking in at 54.39.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Hoy achieved a wide variety of accolades by the end of his time with the Tigers, including repeating as a state champion in the 4x400-meter relay and the 400-meter hurdles. He also was named an Elite All-State athlete in both his junior and senior campaigns, which included setting school records in both the 4x400 (3:16) and 400-hurdles (52.57).
 
HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 4x400-meter relay: 3:16; 400-meter hurdles, 52.57.
 
CLASSROOM: Hoy is currently an open major with an interest in media design/TAM.
 
PERSONAL: Nathan Paul Hoy was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa and is the only son of Mike and Laura Hoy. He has a twin sister named Sara.
