2018: Indoor: Scott only competed in the 400-meter dash during her 2018 indoor campaign. Her best time of the season was at the MPSF Championships in February where she clocked in at 55.20 for 12th place.
Outdoor: The outdoor season was mostly focused on the 400-meter hurdles. Her best performance this season was at the Pac-12 Championships in May, she placed sixth and clocked in at 58.27. At the same meet she competed in her only 5,000-meter run of the season. Scott earned 18th place and clocked in at 17:07.33. She also competed once in the 400-meters at the Cardinal Classic in April. She earned sixth place with a time of 54.74.
 
2017: Indoor: Scott focused on the 200 and 400-meters during her indoor season. In her only 200, she came in 10th place at the Air Force Invitational (1/20). She raced the 400 at four difference meets and recorded a personal best of 54.88 at the MPSF Championships, which was ninth overall. Scott was also part of the 4x400-meter relay during the season and at the conference meet, she helped the relay to a fifth place finish.
Outdoor: Scott competed in the 400-meters and the 400-meter hurdles during the spring. In the open 400, she earned a personal best of 54.32 at the Cardinal Classic (4/22), which was good enough for fourth place. Scott’s fastest time in the 400-hurdles was 59.39 at the Air Force Twilight (5/5), which also won her the individual title. At the Pac-12 Championships, she placed 11th in the 400-hurdles and helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a fifth-place finish. Scott advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary round in the 400-hurdles.
 
2016: Indoor: Scott ran the 200 and 400-meter dashes, as well as the relays in her first season with the Buffs.  She earned a season best in the 200, clocking in at 25.57. Her best time in the 400 was 56.31, which she recorded at the MPSF Championships. Scott was also a member of the CU record setting 4x400-meter relay which placed fifth at the MPSF meet, finishing in 3:42.52.
Outdoor: Scott mainly raced the 400-meter hurdles, but was a great presence on the 4x400 relay was well. She ran a season best 1:01.10 in the 400-hurdles, finishing sixth overall at the Bryan Clay Invitational. At the Pac-12 Championship, she placed 22nd in the prelims, clocking a 1:03.76 time. The 4x400 relay placed sixth at the meet, finishing in 3:41.47, and went on to compete at the NCAA West Preliminary round.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Scott is the WHS 400-meter record holder after clocking 56.30 at the Arcadia Invitational April 11, 2015.  She also ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that set the school record in 2014 after finishing in 4:03.34. Scott was the 2014 and ’15 400 Palomar League Champion, as well as the San Diego CIF Runner-up and a two-time state qualifier. She was honored as the WHS Female Athlete of the Year her junior and senior years. Scott was a first team All-Palomar League selection in 2014 and ’15. Scott also played on the soccer team that won the state championship. She was also recruited by Utah, Boise State, UCSB, Stanford and Michigan.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Scott is a business management major with a GPA greater than 3.20.
 
PERSONAL: Gabriella R. Scott was born on January 13, 1997 in Weisbaden, Germany. She is the daughter of Gregg Scott and Rosa Puig of San Diego, Calif. She enjoys traveling, writing, biking and hiking.
