2011: Indoor: Gruver raced to personal bests in the 60 and 200. She raced to a PR of 8.15 at the Don Barrett Duals (1/29), which was 13th overall. Gruver ran a time of 26.88 in the 200 prelims at the Air Force Invite (2/11).
Outdoor: Gruver ran season bests at the CSU-Pueblo Open. She finished the 100 in 13.14 and the 200 in 26.56.
2010: Indoor: Gruver competed in the 60 and 200-meter dashes during her first indoor campaign. She ran her best time of the season in the 60 at the AFA All-Comers meet (1/15) when she clocked a time of 8.35. Gruver PR'd in the 200 at the Air Force Invite when she finished in 26.89.
Outdoor: Gruver ran the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes during the outdoor season. She clocked personal bests in the 100 and 200 at the CU Invite (4/11). Gruver ran 12.97 in the 100 to place ninth and recorded a mark of 26.27 in the 200 for 11th overall.
HIGH SCHOOL: Gruver earned one letter at TVHS on the track and field team. She was honored with the Ron Denning Spirit Award for participating in track and qualifying for nationals her senior year.
PERSONAL: Jennifer Gruver was born on October 8, 1989, at Beale Air Force Base in Calif. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Linda Gruver of Loveland, Colo., and has one sister, Taylor. Gruver lists sailing, figure skating, riding horses, camping, hiking and snowboarding as her hobbies.
