2011: Indoor: Regan's main focus during her sophomore year was the 600-yard dash. She recorded the eighth-fastest time in CU history at the Potts Invite (1/22), running 1:25.13 for second place behind teammate Liz Tremblay (1:24.07). Just a few weeks later at the Husker Invite she clocked a time of 1:23.70, which ranks third on CU's all-time list. The time placed her fifth at the meet. At the Big 12 Championships Regan recorded the second best time in school history as she crossed the finish in 1:23.66. Her sprinting speed helped the distance medley relay team to a fourth-place finish at the conference meet, finishing in 11:22.87. The relay also broke a 12-year-old CU record of 11:23.34.

Outdoor: Regan raced the 200 and 400 during the outdoor season. She set a PR in the 200 of 25.24 at the Potts Invite (3/19), placing third overall. Regan also recorded a personal best time in the 400, finishing the race in 56.09 at the CU Invite (4/9). She competed in both events at the Big 12 Championships. Regan placed 21st in the 200 (25.47) and was 16th in the 400 (57.39). She was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that competed at the conference championships, finishing in 3:48.47.

2010: Indoor: Regan ran the 600-yard run and 800-meter run during the indoor season. She was fourth in the 600 at the Potts Invite (1/23) with a time of 1:28.66. Regan clocked a time of 2:22.93 in the 800 at the Air Force Invite (2/12). She ran a time of 2:22.14 in the finals the next day to finish sixth overall.

Outdoor: Regan competed in the 200, 400 and 800-meter runs. She was 14th at the Jack Christiansen Invite (4/24) in the 200 with a time of 26.82. Regan notched a season best in the 400 (59.40) at the Tom Benich Classic (4/3), finishing fifth overall. The time was the second best by a Buff during the season She also ran the third best time by a Buff in the 400 (59.58) at the Jack Christiansen Invite (4/24). Regan earned a personal record of 2:13.94 in the 800 during the preliminaries of the Big 12 Championships. She was 19th overall.

CROSS COUNTRY: (2010) Regan competed at the Rocky Mountain Shootout and Fort Hays State Open. She placed 86th and 29th, respectively. (2009) Regan ran in two races for the Buffs. She was 55th overall at the Rocky Mountain Shootout and placed 20th overall at the Fort Hays State Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: On the track, Regan is a seven-time state champion in the 800, 800-meter relay, 1,600-meter relay, 3,200-meter relay spanning 2006-2009 and was an all-state and all-conference track selection from 2006-09. Her 1,600 relay set the state record in 2008 and then reset the record in 2009. Regan is a member of three school record relay teams (4x800, 4x400 and 4x200). Her 3,200-meter relay team took second place at Nike Outdoor Nationals her senior year as well. Regan was named the TVHS Track Athlete of the Year as a freshman and won the TVHS Track Golden Eagle Award as a sophomore and senior. She was named the Loveland Reporter Herald All-Area Track Athlete of the Year in 2006 and 2007. Regan's high school team won the 4A Colorado State Cross Country Championship in 2006 and 2008.

HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 400-Meters: 58.1; 800-Meters: 2:14.88; 1,600-Meters: 5:16.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Regan is majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology. She owns a 3.889 GPA and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Regan earned a GPA of 4.286 in high school and was a member of the honor roll. She also was awarded the AP Scholar honor and is part of the Norlin Scholars program at CU.

PERSONAL: Brooke Regan was born on April 3, 1991 in Fort Collins, Colo. She is the daughter of Ken and Claudia Regan of Loveland, Colo. and has one older sister, Melissa Haselhoff. Regan lists her hobbies as playing violin and piano, horseback riding, running, hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing and skiing. She has volunteered with the Big Thompson Watershed Forum, a non-profit community based organization concerned with water issues in the local river system. Regan has also spent time volunteering with Hearts and Horses, a therapeutic riding program for disabled children.
