2006 OUTLOOK: Christine is one of our elders and leaders. She is among the elite college distance runners in the NCAA. She is ready to have an excellent senior year... an All- American and contender for NCAA titles.

2005: Bolf competed in the mile, 3,000 and 5,000-meter races in the indoor season. She competed only once in the mile, finishing in second-place with a time of 5:02.17 at the Air Force Classic. She made the NCAA preliminary qualifying mark at the Big 12 Indoors to finish second in both the 3k (9:33.09), and the 5k (16:26.94). She set a personal record and NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 15:56.56 at the Husky Classic in the 5k race and took 10th at the NCAA Indoors with a time of 16:22.22. During the outdoor season, Bolf participated in the 800, 1,500, 5k and 10k races. She set personal records in all races but the 800, in which she took second at the Colorado Invitational with at time of 2:16.00. She set personal records as well as regional qualifying marks in the 1,500 (4:24.20) and 5k (15:57.13) races at the Mt. SAC Relays and Cardinal Invitational, respectively. In the 10k, race she set a personal record of 33:26.97 at the NCAA Championships, which earned her a fifth place finish as well as All-American status.

2004: During the indoor season, Bolf competed in the 3,000 and 5,000-meter races, running regional qualifying times for both events. She took second place in the 3k race in the Adidas Classic (9:30.18). She ran her best 5k race at the UW Last Chance (16:17.80), winning the event. She also placed second in the Big 12 Championships and 13th at the NCAA Championships in the 5k. During the outdoor season, Bolf competed in the 1,500, 5k and 10k. She garnered All-American status when she clocked a 35:00.22 in the 10k at the NCAA Championships, while she also finished third at the Big 12 Championships in the 5k race (16:30.59) and second in the 10k (35:39.63). She was a regional qualifier in the 1,500, winning at the Mt. SAC Relays (4:31.66), and ran a season team-best 34:13.72 in the 10k, taking seventh at the Stanford Invitational.  

2003: Bolf finished second in the 3,000-meter run at the Air Force Classic (10:29.61), but recorded her best time of the season at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 10:00.68. In the same meet she finished ninth in the 5k with a time of 17:00.95. She competed in the outdoor Big 12 Championships in the 5k and 10k runs, taking sixth (17:19.44) and 10th (37:40.17) place respectively.

CROSS COUNTRY: Bolf ran in all 20 varsity races since her arrival on campus in 2002, scoring in all but two as a freshman, including four postseason contests all four years.  She went from a 186th place finish in 2002’s NCAA Championships to an All-American 14th place effort as CU’s third finisher in 2004. In 2005, she improved to seventh place at the NCAA Championships and was the top finisher for the Buffs. She won three of the five races in ’05 and was the top CU racer in all but one race. Along the way she has been named All-Region three times, and All-Big 12 and All-American as a junior and senior.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bolf was an all-league performer her sophomore through senior seasons and a Sunshine League champion during her final campaign. She ended her career with a fourth-place finish at the state meet in the 800-meter and third in the 3,200-meter races. She holds Notre Dame Academy records in both events, posting a 2:18.42 in the 800 and a 10:32 in the 3,200.

ACADEMICS: An accounting major at Colorado, Bolf carries a better than 3.0 grade point average and has been on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll six straight semesters. She was named first-team Academic All-Big 12 in 2004.

PERSONAL: Christine Sylvia Bolf was born to Richard and Elisa Bolf on May 27, 1984 in Santa Monica, Calif. She has an older sister, Cindy, who is a senior at USC.
