2008 OUTLOOK: Jared is a newcomer to the sprint corps. Jared had a great off-season and looks to make an immediate impact in the sprints and relays.

HIGH SCHOOL: Stewart is a member of the RMHS 4x400-meter relay record holding team (3:19.00). He earned three letters while competing for the Lobos. In 2005 and 2006 he was a member of the all-conference team in the 4x200 and the 4x400-meter relays.

ACADEMICS: Stewart intends to major in film at Colorado and is interested in Psychology.

PERSONAL: Jared James Stewart was born on June 7, 1988 in Fort Collins, Colo. He is the son of James and Becky Stewart. His father played baseball for Virginia Tech and the Minnesota Twins. He was one older sister, Jenna, and a younger brother, Jacob. Stewart enjoys film, golfing and swimming.
