2015: Indoor: Egotanda competed at just one meet during his first season, the CSM Alumni Open (12/13/14), but he made it count as he participated in three events. Egotanda cleared 6-4.75 in the high jump, jumped 23-8.25 in the long jump and recorded a mark of 45-6.25 in the triple jump.
Outdoor: Egotanda participated in both long and triple jumps for CU during his freshman campaign. He recorded a season-best triple jump of 46-9 at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular (3/28), placing fourth overall. Egotanda jumped 23-6.25 in the long jump at the Tom Benich Invite (4/4), which was the runner-up. He competed in both events at the Pac-12 Championships, placing 15th in both. He jumped 22-7.25 in the long jump and 44-1.50 in the triple jump.
HIGH SCHOOL: Egotanda owns six records at Vestal High School, two section records and was the 2013 state champion in the long jump. During both his junior and senior seasons, Egotanda was a first team all-state, all-conference and all-class A team member. In 2014, he placed 12th in the long jump at indoor nationals and during the outdoor season, he was sixth in the long jump at Penn Relays. Egotanda was also recruited by Arizona, Miami, Washington, Illinois, Buffalo and Arkansas State.

PERSONAL: Micheal Dieudonne Egotanda was born on Sept. 14, 1996 in Vestal, N.Y. He is the son of Dieudonne and Gertrude Egotanda and has one brother, Diamont. Egotanda speaks fluent French and is a citizen of the Republic of Conga. He enjoys hiking and traveling.
