2007 OUTLOOK: John has been slowed by injuries this fall. He will add depth to the sprints and relays.

HIGH SCHOOL: Euwema earned four letters as a member of the cross country and track & field teams at Chaparral. He was a captain of both teams his senior year. Euwema’s junior season, he was named second team all-conference in the 800 and was the underclassman Scholar Athlete of the Year. During his senior campaign, Euwema was named first team all-conference in the 800, 4x800 and 4x400. He was also named the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year. Euwema was a member of CHS’s school record holding 4x800 and 4x400 teams.

ACADEMICS: Euwema is an architectural major at Colorado. He was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll this past fall and owns a GPA of 3.514.

PERSONAL: John Clifford Euwema was born on Feb. 8, 1987 to Mark and Marty Euwema in Riverside, Calif. He has one older sister, Stephanie and a twin brother, Charlie, who goes to school at Fort Lewis College. After graduation, Euwema would like to be an architect. He lists his hobbies as mountain biking and snowboarding. Euwema has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and the Parker task force.
