What is the Buff Club?
The Buff Club was established in 1956 to provide scholarships and financial assistance for the University of Colorado's student-athletes and to support and promote the interest and welfare of Colorado athletics. Very simply, the Buff Club is the annual fund raising program to assist "Your" CU Athletic Department.
Why should a person/or corporation join the Buff Club?
No two people will have identical reasons for joining the Buff Club. However, some of the reasons might include:

A personal concern for the University and its Intercollegiate Athletic programs.

A strong conviction about Colorado athletics and the educational opportunity, which is being provided to University of Colorado student-athletes.

Pride ? Knowing that your support of the Buff Club is a tremendous asset to the University.
Is the cost of the season football ticket and parking pass included in my donation?
NO, donations are separate and apart from the cost of season tickets and parking.
Are all Buff Club donors eligible to purchase parking permits?
Only Buff Club donors whose combined annual contributions exceed $250 are eligible to purchase Game Day Zone parking permits. Currently, Game Day Zone S, E and G are available for new permit holders and requires an annual donation at the $1,000 level for Zone S, $500 level for Zone E, and $250 for Zones G. If you would like to park in other Game Day Zone Parking areas, you may be added to our waiting list. The availability is changing daily so if you would like to sign up for Game Day Zones S, E, or G parking, or be added to the parking waiting list, contact the Buff Club office directly at 303-492-2200, or buffclub@cufund.org.
Are donations for Buff Club membership tax deductible?
It is the Buff Club’s interpretation that the minimum donation to retain benefits, falls within the guidelines for IRC 170(L) and is therefore 80% deductible. Contributions to the Buff Club are 100% tax deductible if there are no benefits received for the gift. Please consult your tax advisor regarding this important information.
A charitable gift receipt will be mailed to you from the University of Colorado Foundation.
In future years will I have the opportunity to relocate my tickets if I desire?
Buff Club members can request a change in ticket location at the time of season ticket renewals each year. Requests will be handled based on ticket availability and your CU Athletics Priority Points.
What other amenities are available to Buff Club Members?
Buff Club members may be eligible to purchase season football tickets and parking passes, purchase away game tickets, bowl game tickets and Big 12 Championship Game tickets, receive media guides, Buff Club official publication The Stampede Magazine, Buff Club decal, and/or options to purchase tickets to Buff Club sponsored events.
What are Priority Points, why do I need them and how do I get them?
The University of Colorado Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has an established priority point system for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and women’s volleyball that recognizes loyalty to the program as well as continuous financial support.
Seating locations are assigned according to priority point totals. A combination of lifetime and annual points are used in assigning the seats.

9. When is my Buff Club donation due?
The fiscal year operates July 1 to June 30. The Buff Club requests gifts to be sent by Feb. 1 to ensure benefits associated with season tickets and parking, however, gifts are appreciated at any time of the year.
