SAL'S LETTER TO THE COLORADO FOOTBALL TEAM

My dearest teammates, coaches, friends and brothers, whom apart from my family I do hold so close,

I come to you all with love and encouragement to continue to do what you, we all, have been doing since our season first started, only to excel and better ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually. Unity is our strength and love is our guide from here on in. Don't be saddened that you will not longer see me in the flesh, because I assure you I will always be with you in spirit. Hold me dear to your hearts as you know I do all of you. Strive only for victory each time we play, and trust in the Lord for He truly is the way! I love you all, 'go get 'em', and bring home the Orange Bowl.
