KOA Offers Tribute To Zimmer

SALT LAKE CITY GÇö A host of former Colorado coaches and players paid special tribute to longtime KOA radio broadcaster Larry Zimmer in a pregame special Saturday.
The list included 12 players and three coaches. Those paying tribute included former CU coaches Bill McCartney, Gary Barnett and Rick Neuheisel; along with former buffs Darian Hagan, Mike Pritchard, Jeff Campbell, Chauncey Billups and Matt Russell.
The tribute ran approximately seven minutes.
Zimmer has called University of Colorado football and basketball games for 42 seasons. SaturdayGÇÖs game in Utah will be his final game behind the mic.
