Grace Wold joined the Herbst Academic Center staff at the University of Colorado as an Academic Mentor in 2018 and began serving as a Learning Specialist in 2019. Prior to coming to CU, Wold spent time volunteering in the Office of Student-Athlete Development at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and working in Student-Athlete Academic Services at the University of Washington.
Wold completed her undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Gender & Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 while earning a certificate in Leadership. While in Madison, Wold competed as a student-athlete for the Badgers on their swim team.
Wold went on to earn her Master of Education at the University of Washington's Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program. She received an Outstanding Merit award for her degree culminating project and the IAL Faculty Merit Award. While in graduate school, she served as the Student-Athlete Development Assistant for the Huskies.
Outside of her responsibilities as a Learning Specialist, she is involved with N4A and specifically sits on the Learning Concerns and Enhancement Committee leadership team. She is also involved with professional development opportunities through Women Leaders in College Sports.
Originally from Mercer Island, Wash., Wold spends her free time hiking, skiing, and exploring Colorado with her partner, Tyler, and dog, Bear.
