2008 OUTLOOK: Allison is training well now and hopes to be a varsity contributor in the spring.

CROSS COUNTRY: Francke was a member of the ?B’ team in 2007 and competed in three races. She earned her best finish of the season at the Air Force Invite when she placed seventh overall and was the fourth Buff across the finish. Francke was 33rd at the Fort Hays Invite (5k) and 49th at the Rocky Mountain Shootout. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Francke started running as a sophomore and scored for the Royals at the state cross country meet where the team took eighth overall. She ran the anchor (800) of the sprint medley which recorded a school record mark of 4:21 at the Arcadia Invitational on April 6, 2007. Francke qualified for the South Section CIF Championships in the 800 as a junior and the 1,600 her senior season. She also lettered in basketball and was named the 2006 RHS most valuable player and to the All-Trinity League First Team. Francke was also recruited by Loyola Marymount, Cal Poly, Pepperdine and UC-Irvine.

ACADEMICS: Francke intends to major in journalism at Colorado and is also interested in advertising. She was awarded a scholarship from the CU-Boulder Alumni Association (Orange Country Chapter) for the 2007-08 academic year. Francke was an honor student at RHS and was a scholar athlete.

PERSONAL: Allison Page Francke was born on April 21, 1989 in Arcadia, Calif. Her parents are Brad and Kellly Francke of Yorba Linda, Calif. She has two younger brothers, Kevin and Brian. Her grandfather, Bill Francke, played football and lacrosse at Rutgers University. Francke lists her hobbies as working out, shopping and going to the beach. She volunteered with the National Charity League (Orange Country Chapter) from 2003-07 and was involved with the Rosary High School Campus Ministry in 2004 and 05.
