Emily Giusti is in her second year on the University of Colorado staff as a football recruiting assistant, as she joined the staff full-time on March 15, 2021.  She had previously worked as a volunteer since September 2020.

Giusti, 24, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Ohio State University in 2020.  She worked as student operations and recruiting assistant for the Buckeyes’ football team from 2017-2020.  She was a part of the three Big Ten Conference title teams (2017-2019), and worked three bowl games for the school: the 2018 Cotton (a win over Southern California), the 2019 Rose (a victory over Washington) and the 2020 Fiesta (a loss to Clemson), the latter of which was also a College Football Playoff semifinal game.

She was born January 22, 1998 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and graduated from its St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where she lettered in softball (she was a member of a two-time state champion team).  Her hobbies include taking her dog hiking, listening to podcasts and exploring all the food Colorado has to offer.

She has a video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbvvzveIGVA) where she tells a story about being involved in a tragic boat accident as a teenager in high school where she lost a close friend and  overcame severe injuries.
