AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.-RS)-Enters the fall listed second at split-side tackle. Has added 25 pounds to his frame since reporting as a true freshman.

2001 (Fr.)-Redshirted; did not see any action. He practiced the entire year on the offensive line, mainly at tackle.

HIGH SCHOOL-As a senior, he earned honorable mention (5A) all-state honors from the Texas Sportswriters Association, and he also garnered first-team all-district (6-5A) and all-area accolades. Rivals.com ranked him as the No. 34 offensive tackles in the nation, with Prep Football Report and SuperPrep naming him to their all-Southwest teams. (SuperPrep ranked him as the No. 15 O-lineman in Texas). PrepStar named him to its honorable mention all-Midlands region team. He started 20 games at offensive tackle for Flower Mound his junior and senior seasons combined, and played some defensive tackle on the goal line defensive unit (he had three tackles as a senior). He graded out to well over 90 percent as a senior, allowing only one sack in helping the offense churn out 216 yards rushing per game. He also allowed only one sack as a junior, on a team that had 315 passing attempts. Top games as a senior came against The Colony, as in a 37-36 win, he graded to 96 percent and had five pancakes, and in a 35-21 win over Keller, grading to 95% with five ?cakes. He graded out to a career-best 97 percent with four pancakes in a loss to Newman Smith as a junior. Under coach Cody Vanderford, Flower Mound was 4-6 his senior year and 1-9 his junior season, the first two varsity seasons on the 5A level at Flower Mound High School (his position coach was Allen Cross). The JV team was 8-2 his sophomore year, and as a freshman, he was at Flower Mound Marcus High, which posted an 8-2 record.

ACADEMICS-He is undecided on his major at Colorado, but is enrolled in CU?s School of Arts & Sciences.

PERSONAL-He was born April 17, 1984 in Long Beach, Calif. His hobbies include trucks, off-roading, traveling and skiing, as well as playing "hoccer," a soccer-hockey combo he created with fellow CU recruit, Fred Staugh.
