2011: Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Nahreini raced once for CU, finishing the 3,000-meter run in 11:18.13 at the CU Invite (4/9). She was seventh overall.
2010: Indoor: Nahreini raced in three meets during the indoor season. She ran the seventh fastest time for the Buffs in the mile, crossing the finish in 5:16.31 at the Potts Invite (1/23) and was second overall. Nahreini was fourth in the 3k at the Don Barrett Duals, clocking at time of 10:37.35. Her final meet of the season was the Husky Classic (2/12). Nahreini ran the 5k in 17:22.47, the fourth best time by a Buff in 2010. .
Outdoor: Nahreini competed in three more meets during the outdoor season. She started off by running the 10k at the Stanford Invite (3/26), finishing in 36:00.78, the second best time by a Buff during the outdoor season. Nahreini followed that up with a second-place finish in the 3k (10:22.63) at the CU Invite (4/10). Her final meet of the season was at the Mt. SAC Relays. Nahreini ran the 5k in 17:11.67, posting the fifth best time for a Buff.
HIGH SCHOOL: Nahreini earned four letters on the track team and four on the cross country team at Peak to Peak Charter. She was an all-conference selection for three seasons as a member of the cross country team.
PERSONAL: Jhenya Natalya Nahreini was born on December 29, 1990 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Piruz and Theresa Nahreini. She enjoys reading and has volunteered as an engineering ambassador. Nahreini has worked as a lab assistant in Goodrich Lab and Anseth Lab at CU. She took first in state for dramatic interpretation of literature and is fluent in Spanish.
