AT COLORADO: This Season (Jr.)?He joined the team as a walk-on for spring drills, enrolling at Colorado for the spring semester after transferring from Georgetown University. He is thus ineligible to compete this fall as he must sit out the season due to NCAA rules.

AT GEORGETOWN (Fr., Soph./2006, 2007)?He lettered twice at fullback under coach Kevin Kelly at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Primarily in a blocking role, in six games as a sophomore he had three carries for 10 yards and returned two kickoffs for 30 yards. As a freshman, he appeared in 10 games and had nine attempts for 17 yards and a touchdown, three kickoff returns for 18 yards and seven special team tackles (two solo). His top three games came in his freshman season: against Columbia he had three tackles on kickoff coverage; against Fordham he had a 5-yard touchdown run; and against Stony Brook he had five pancake blocks on kickoff return duty. Georgetown was 1-10 his sophomore season and 2-9 his freshman year.

HIGH SCHOOL?A four-year letterman in football playing defensive end and fullback, he set a school record with 36? career quarterback sacks. As a senior, he was named first team All-Pacific Coast League and first team All-CIF Division IX. He was named to the Daily Pilot Dream Team and was the Defensive MVP of the North-South All-Star game. He was also his team’s MVP, making 72 tackles, with 28 for losses including 12? sacks. On offense, he rushed for 106 yards and four touchdowns on 16 attempts. He received the same honors as a junior and was named his team’s Defensive Lineman of the Year. He recorded 102 total tackles, including 22 tackles for loss (16 sacks), with five rushes for 25 yards on offense. As a sophomore, he was named first team All-Pacific Coast League and a member of the Daily Pilot Dream Team. He was also named his team’s Defensive Lineman of the Year as he made 38 tackles, including 11 tackles for losses (eight sacks). His top prep games both came as a senior: in a win over Estancia, he set a school record with five quarterback sacks; in a loss to Troy, he recorded 12 tackles on defense and had four rushes for 36 yards and a touchdown on offense. Under head coach Dick Freeman, Corona del Mar was 7-5 his senior season, 5-6 his junior year, 4-6 his sophomore year and 8-2 his freshman campaign. He also lettered once in track as a sprinter.

ACADEMICS?He is majoring in Business (Management) at Colorado. He was a member of the Honor Roll throughout high school.

PERSONAL?Born June 13, 1988, in Pasadena, Calif. His hobbies include listening to music, watching music and golfing. After college, he hopes to get into entertainment management. He was a high school teammate and remains best friends with CU teammate Shaun Mohler.
