AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.-RS)-Enters the fall listed at third on the depth chart at center. In spring conditioning tests, he set the all-time CU freshman record for the bench press (430 pounds) and the squat (616 pounds).

2002 (Fr.)- Redshirted; practiced the entire fall on the offensive line after joining the squad as a recruited walk-on for August drills.

HIGH SCHOOL-He lettered three times in football at Episcopal playing defensive tackle and on the offensive line. A team captain his senior season, he garnered all-conference honors and was named his school?s Male Athlete of the Year. He had 50 tackles, seven sacks and recovered three fumbles during the season, as he later went on to play in the Greater Houston All-Star Classic where he was named the game?s most valuable player. During his junior year, he racked up 42 tackles, two sacks and recovered one fumble, and also posted 39 tackles and recovered two fumbles as a sophomore. Episcopal was 2-7 his senior year, 1-8 his junior year and 1-8 his sophomore year under coach Dick Phillips. He lettered three times in track (shot put) and was an all-conference selection as a senior. He also lettered once in lacrosse as a defenseman.

ACADEMICS-He is majoring in humanities at Colorado, but is also quite interested in kinesiology.

PERSONAL-Born Feb. 23, 1984 in Houston, Texas. Hobbies include lifting weights, watching movies and watching ESPN?s SportsCenter. Father (James) played football and Lacrosse at Cornell University.
