Sarah joined the Herbst Academic Center in 2019 as an academic intern. Prior to returning to her alma mater, Sarah served as a strategy tutor for student-athletes and a compliance intern at the University of Alabama. Sarah was at the University of Alabama for 7 years, also serving as an academic advisor for the College of Engineering, a graduate research assistant, and a speech-language pathology clinical fellow.
Sarah earned her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama in Higher Education Administration in 2019, her master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Speech-Language Pathology in 2012, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences in 2010. Sarah was a contracted cadet in Army ROTC at CU and commissioned as an officer upon graduation.
Sarah is originally from Connecticut and her immediate family is located in Maryland, Minnesota, Alabama, and Colorado. Sarah and her husband Josh are very happy to be back in Colorado with the Buffs family!
