Jedediah Herb is the Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services and External Operations, leading the Herbst Academic Center at the University of Colorado.
Herb joined the CU Athletics staff in July 2011, first as a learning specialist before transitioning to academic coordinator duties for the cross country and track & field programs in 2019. Herb was promoted to Associate AD in 2025, taking over direction of the department.
Prior to his arrival at CU, Herb was an adjunct faculty member for four years at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs. During this time, he served a one-year term as the Vice President of Adjunct Affairs. He spent his last two years as the coordinator of the TRiO Success Center, coordinating student services programs designed to identify and provide educational advising for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
A native of Forked River, N.J., Herb attended Lacey Township High School, where he played baseball, tennis, and wrestled. He earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Kean University in 2003, graduating Cum Laude. He earned his master’s degree in special education from CU-Denver.
