Career at Colorado—Babcock finished her career with 33 races to her credit despite missing her entire junior season with an injury.  She finished 30 of those races and took home 13 top 20 and one top 10 performance.  In 16 slalom races, she finished 11 of them with nine top 20 and 1 one 10 performance. 

2011 (Sr.)—Babcock returned after over a year off the slopes and had a solid season finishing 10 out of 11 races and compiling four top 20 finishes, including a pair of 14th places at the UNM Invitational. With the majority of the women’s alpine team participating in World University Games, she was the most consistent Buff with a pair of 14th place finishes at the RMISA Championships. A champion in the classroom, she was honored by the Big 12 Conference as one of three CU student-athletes who maintain above a 3.8 GPA (3.806) while completing more than 100-credits.  She was named to the Division I National All-Academic Team, completed at least one semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA and was named to the inaugural Academic All-Big 12 At-Large First Team. 

2010 (Jr.)—Babcock missed the entire season on the slopes due to injury.

2009 (Soph.)—Babcock tallied a trio of top 15 finishes in her sophomore year, including a career-best eighth place finish in the RMISA Slalom Qualifier at Eldora, besting her 11th place finish she notched last season.  After participating in the RMISA Championships where she scored for the Buffs in the slalom race with a 12th place finish, she was named to the Division I National All-Academic Team for the second year in a row.

2008 (Fr.)—Babcock claimed four top 20 finishes, two in each the giant slalom and slalom disciplines, during her first year at Colorado.  Her season-best slalom effort came at the Colorado Invitational in Steamboat where Babcock took 11th overall, and that proved to be here best career combined performance, as she took 18th in the giant slalom race.  At the Western State Invitational, Babcock took 17th for the Buffs, which would prove to eventually be a career-best giant slalom effort.  An outstanding performer on the slopes, as well as in the classroom, Babcock was one of 12 Buffs to be named to the Division I NCAA Skiing All-Academic Team.

2007 (At Bates College)—Babcock attended Bates College, which sponsors a Division I ski team, but was not a part of that team. 

Club—Babcock was a member of Ski Club Vail prior to her admission to Bates College in 2006-07.

High School—A multi-sport athlete, Babcock was the captain of the ski racing team at the Holderness School and she also was a three-year letterwinner in soccer and spent one year on both the tennis and lacrosse teams.  She was the student body vice president as a senior and she graduated with high academic honors and was a member of the Cum Laude Society.

In the Classroom—Babcock is pursuing a degree in geography and environmental studies at Colorado.

Personal—Ashley Babcock was born on April 14, 1988 and is the daughter of Judd Babcock and Lucy Davis. She is very close to both of her sisters, Polly (19) and Isabel (30). She enjoys rafting, riding horses, reading, swimming, meditating and listening to music.  She is interested in subsistence living, which includes growing your own food.  After college, Babcock would love to teach abroad.
