Personal—Briana Perkins was born August 31, 1989 in East Islip, N.Y., and she lists Breckenridge, Colo, as her home town.  She is the daughter of Brian and Karen Perkins.  Her sister, Brittany, skied at Western State College before they disbanded their ski team.  She has aspirations to ski for the U.S. Ski Team after college and lists her hobbies as skiing, running, downhill biking and dirt biking.  She selected Colorado because she loves Boulder and the great group of people associated with the ski program.
