At Colorado: Career—Abrahamsson had one of the better careers in CU history. While she was at her best during the first half of her career on the slopes, she was no slouch and one of the best student-athletes in school history, being named Academic All-American of the Year multiple times and an Academic All-American on multiple occasions. She was a five-time All-American, four times a first-team selection, part of the 2024 NCAA Championship team, and in 49 career races, she finished in the top 20 a total of 46 times, with 34 top-10 and 24 top-5 performances, including 13 podium appearances and two race wins. Slightly stronger in classic races, she never finished outside the top 20 and was in the top 5 17 times in 26 races with 10 of her 13 podiums and both race wins.
2025 (Senior)—Abrahamsson closed out her college and competitive skiing career in 2025, finishing in the top 20 in 12 of 14 races with five in the top 10 and one top-five finish, which was a third-place podium appearance at the DU Invitational. She was at her best at the DU Invitational, also finishing a season-best seventh place in the freestyle race. At the NCAA Championships, Hanna placed 21st in the classic and 16th in the freestyle. Her honors included Big 12 Student-Athlete of the Month (March 2025), Second-Team Academic All-American, honorable mention All-RMISA, a finalist for the Female Career Athletic Achievement Award, and multiple times CU Athlete of the Week. In the classroom, she was also named CSC Academic All-District, to CU’s 4.0 Club, and named to the National All-Academic Ski Team.
2024 (Junior)—Abrahamsson had a bit of an off year compared to her first two in 2024, but was clutch when it mattered most, taking home fourth place in the 20K classic race at the NCAA Championship, enabling the Buffs to pull off the second-largest final day comeback in NCAA Championship history as the Buffs brought home the title. She finished all 13 races on the season with 12 in the top 20, seven in the top 10, and five in the top 5, including two podiums and one race win. She slowly picked up speed throughout the first month of the season and broke through at the CU Invitational, where she won the 20K classic race at Howelsen Hill, where NCAAs would be conducted about five weeks later, when she took home fourth place. She was also second at the DU Invitational in the 10K classic race and fourth place at the RMISA Championships. Even more impressive in the classroom, she was named a first-team Academic All-American and the Academic All-American of the Year, a notable achievement given that it occurred in the At-Large category, where she won the award against thousands of athletes in over a dozen sports. She was on CU’s 4.0 Club, CSC Academic All-District, and named to the National All-Academic Ski team and the Pac-12 Winter Honor Roll. On the slopes, she earned a first-team All-America honor, was second-team All-RMISA, and was given the team’s Lucie Hanusova Award.
2023 (Sophomore)—Abrahamsson followed up an impressive freshman season with a stellar sophomore one, during which she never finished lower than seventh place and picked up two first-team All-America honors while also being an Academic All-American. She finished all 11 races with nine of the 11 in the top five including seven podium appearances and one win. She was named the RMISA MVP for women’s classic after hitting the podium in all six races including four runner-up performances and one win. She was named first-team Alll-RMISA while picking up RMISA Skier of the Meet honors for the CU Invitational and four CU Athlete of the Week honors. She repeated as the teams Outstanding Nordic Woman Award winner, as well. In classic races, she finished 2-1-3-2-3-2 on the season with a perfect podium season of six and laos had one runner-up finish in a 5K freestyle race at the CU Invitational. At the NCAA Champsionships, she finished fifth in the 5K freestyle race on the second day, helping CU keep the lead, and her second-place finish in the 20K classic race helped keep the Buffs in second place as a team and push for the National Championship. Equally as impressive in the classroom, she joined the CU 4.0 Club and was named second-team Academic All-American by College Sports Communciators, especially impressive as she was on the second team and essentially in the top 20 of 12 of the NCAA’s most high achieving sports that are combined on the At-Large team. She was named to the National Collegaite All-Academic Ski Team, the Pac-12 Acadmic Honor Roll and the CSC Academic All-Distrct Team, as well.
2022 (Freshman)—Abrahamsson established herself as one of the top Nordic skiers in the nation as a freshman. She finished all 11 races she took part in, never finishing lower than seventh place, with nine top five finishes and three podium appearances. She earned two All-America honors, including a first-team nod in the freestyle and second-team honors in the classical discipline. SHe was named first-team All-RMISA, was the RMISA Skier of the Meet for the Alaska Anchorage Invitational and named CU Athlete of the Week twice. She was given the team’s Outstanding Nordic Woman Award and was a finalist for the Female Freshman of the Year among all CU student-athletes. She opened her career at the U.S. National Championships and among college skiers finished second in the 10K classical at Soldier Hollow. She then took fifth in the classic sprints at the same meet, which was an extra qualifier for the RMISA. At the Montana State Invitational a week later, she took fourth in the freestyle and fifth in the classic races. She was named the Skier of the Meet in Alaksa after finishing fourth in the classic race and third in the freetysle race, and then she took second in the freestyle race as part of the RMISA Invitational, also in Fairbanks, Alaska. At the RMISA Championships, she finished fourth in the classic race and sixth in the freestyle race. At the NCAA Championships, she finished fifth in the freestyle to earn first-team All-America honors, and seventh in the classical race to pick up second-team honors.
