Career at Colorado—He competed in two NCAA Championships in his career as a sophomore and senior, helping the Buffs win the national championship in 2015. He finished all 41 races he competed in during his career with 24 finishes inside the top 20.
 
2017 (Senior)—He was one of just two Buffs on the men’s Nordic team who competed in and finished all 12 races on the season, as he made his second NCAA Championship appearance. He had four top 20 finishes on the season with three of the four coming in the freestyle discipline. Hi best meet of the season was at the RMISA Championships, where he helped the Buffs win a 28th regional title by being the third scorer on the men’s Nordic team. He finished 15th in the 10K classic, his top finish of the season in the event on the year, while also coming in 17th in the 20K freestyle. His top finish of the season was in the year’s very first race, the 15K freestyle at the Utah Invitational where he finished 12th. At the NCAA Championships, he placed 28th in the 20K freestyle race and was 36th in the 10K classical.

2016 (Junior)–He competed in nine races and finished in the top 10 in five of those. Excelled in the freestyle discipline, finishing 10th or better in four of his five races there on the season with a top finish at the New Mexico Invitational where he tied for eighth.
 
2015 (Sophomore)—Was one of three Buffaloes on the season to finish every Nordic race on the year. Competed in his first NCAA Championships, finishing 14th in freestyle and 36th in classical to help the Buffaloes win the National Championship. Placed inside the top 20 in 10 of 12 races on the year. His top finish was a sixth-place showing in the freestyle at the New Mexico Invitational.

2014 (Freshman)—He competed in eight of 10 potential regular season races for the Buffaloes, earning four top 20 and three top 15 finishes.  His best race was his first collegiate freestyle race, taking 12th in the discipline at Montana State after missing the same race at Utah due to his participation at U.S. National’s.  His best classical finish was also in Bozeman, a 14th place finish.  He did not compete in the freestyle race at the RMISA Championships.  He was an alternate for the Buffs for participation in the NCAA Championships.

Club—Hill has competed in a handful of FIS sanctioned races prior to coming to CU.  He finished third in the 10K Freestyle race at the U.S. Junior National Championships in January 2014.  He has a total of seven All-American honors at the Junior National Championships, including two in 2014.  He is an alternate for the U.S. on its World Junior Cross Country Team. 

High School—Hill graduated from Summit High School in Frisco, Colo., in June 2013 where he competed in Nordic Skiing, Soccer and Lacrosse.  He was a member of the Colorado State Champions in 2010, 2012 and 2013 and won the individual State Championship in the 5K freestyle race in 2013.

In the Classroom—Hill is interested in majoring in Integrated Physiology at Colorado.
