This Season ? “A January addition. Jonas is an excellent skier, and is a very experienced European, and has made an immediate impact on our team. I don’t want to put any extra pressure on him, but he will definitely be a pulling force behind the whole team.”

Club ? Kryzl was a member of the Czech Junior National Team from 1998-2004, and this past year was promoted to the full Czech Men’s National Team. While on the junior team, Kryzl won the junior national championship in the slalom three times (2001, 2002, 2003) and was a two time junior champion in the giant slalom (2002, 2003). He took third in the Czech championships in the slalom in 2002.

Academics ? He plans on majoring in architecture and design at Colorado, and is also interested in fine arts.

Personal ? Jonas Kryzl was born Sept. 7, 1983 in Prague. He is the son of Ales Kryzl and Zuzana Kryzlova, who reside in Prague. He has a younger brother, Krystof (19), who is a member of the Czech Junior National Alpine Team.
