Club ? Borgnes is a transfer from Hogskolen I Lillehammer in Lillehammer, Norway and joins Colorado from the Norwegian junior national team where she has skied the past two years. She took third in the 2006 Junior National Championship in the 5+5K Duathlon and the 5K Freestyle race for her club team.

In the Classroom ? Borgnes is interested in pursuing an integrative physiology major at Colorado.

Personal ? Born August 30, 1986 in Oslo, Norway, Karoline Borgnes is the daughter of Helge and Astrid Borgnes. She has three siblings, Kamilla (19), Pernille (16), and Mathias (14), who are also Nordic skiers. She was recruited by Denver, Montana and New Mexico but chose Colorado because of the great coaches, the good environment and the beautiful scenery.
