College This Season: Pashkowski is the hardest working kid on the block according to Rokos. But that hard work developed into a stress fracture in her right leg and the beginnings of one in her left. "Temporarily retired" and in and out of a boot for the better part of six weeks, she is cleared and ready to ski. As promising as last season was, 2003 looks to be even stronger.

2002: Following 12th and 32nd-place finishes at the Montana State Invitational, Pashkowski proved to be one of the top contenders in the west as she was on fire with top-10 efforts in 10 of 11 races, the strongest effort by a downhill skier on either the men's or women's team. She rebounded from MSU with a fourth and ninth-place effort in the slalom and GS, respectively at Nevada before finishing seventh (GS) and a season-best third in the slalom at Denver. Her lone top-20 effort following the MSU Invite was a 16th place finish in the GS at New Mexico before slicing 10 places off her finish the next day to finish sixth in the slalom. Her best, combined meet finishes were at the NCAA West Regionals where she finished third in the slalom and paced the CU women with fifth in the giant. She turned in her second and third All-American performances, when she finished ninth in the GS, and seventh in the slalom on the Mt. Alyeska course. At the end of the season she was awarded with the Lucie Hanusova Award for her ability to overcome adversity and challenges with a smile and enthusiasm.

2001: Pashkowski was inconsistent at times in 2001, but her season hit a crescendo with a fifth-place, first-team All-American performance in the slalom at the NCAA Championships. She did this after finishing the regular season with back-to-back fourth place slalom finishes at the New Mexico Invitational and the West Regional. She also finished in the top 10 in the GS at both venues (seventh at New Mexico and eighth at regionals). The slalom was her best event all season, with her top result a third place finish at the Nevada Invitational. She finished 10th in the slalom at the World University Game in Zakopane, Poland in February.

2000: A late addition to the CU squad, Pashkowski had a brilliant season and may have been the best all-around women's alpine skier in the West Region. She struggled in her first shot at the NCAA Championships, hitting a gate in both the slalom and giant slalom and finishing those events in 30th and 29th, respectively. But that didn't take away from her excellent rookie campaign. She won the first two giant slalom events of the season at the Utah and Montana State invitationals. She had one slalom victory on the year, coming at the Colorado Invitational. She started off her second run in third but made up the time, combined with a few skiers struggling, and won her first ever slalom in college competition. She had seven top-five finishes leading up to nationals. She was second in the slalom at the regionals but missed a gate in the GS and finished 28th.

Other - She came to CU from the United States Development Team, where she had spent 1998 and 1999. Following high school, she became a member of the Mammoth Mountain Racing Team. She has also been a member of the Mission Ridge Ski Club and the International Ski Academy. She arrived at Colorado coming off a successful showing at the 2000 U.S. Alpine Championships in March of 2000 where she finished eighth in the slalom and was 11th after the first run of the GS before the event was cancelled due to course conditions. She was the 1999 champion in the Nor-Am giant slalom at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon. She has several career top-10 finishes in Nor Am competition in both the GS and the slalom. She placed third overall in the Nor Am GS season standings in 1999.

Academics - Pashkowski is an economics major at Colorado and will carry a 3.69 grade point average into her junior season.
