High School: Boksay competed in the 400 meter event as a four-year letterwinner at Columbia High School in Maplewood, N.J., earning second team honors as a senior. She also lettered two years in cross-country and four years in fencing. A member of the Fencing Junior National Team, Boksay placed 10th at the fencing nationals, as well as earning all-state honors (epee, saber, foil) on her fencing state championship team (epee).
Personal: Alexandra Boksay was born May 24, 1985 to parents Istvah and Patricia Boksay in New Brunswick, N.J. Her father played on the U.S. National Water Polo Team. Her intended major at Colorado is Pyschology, but she also has an interest in kinesiology with a desired profession becoming a physical therapist upon graduation.
