High School: A cross country and track athlete at Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colo., Bruce holds numerous school records, including the 200 meter (26.0), 400 meter (59.2), 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay and 800 medley relay. The biggest moment of her prep career was as the anchor leg of the 3rd place team in the 800 meter medley relay at the state championships with a split of 56.4. As a senior, she was recognized as the Female Athlete of the Year, 2nd team all-conference for track and 2nd team all-conference and all-league for cross-country. As a junior, Bruce was voted the team’s Sprinter MVP, as well as being named to the all-conference first-team, all-league team, 2nd team all-conference and honorable mention all-state. She was also Sprinter MVP and 2nd team all-conference as a sophomore, and Track MVP and honorable mention all-conference as a freshman.

Personal: Allison Reed Bruce was born April 14, 1985 in Englewood, Colo. She is the daughter of John Bruce of Littleton, Colo. She lists skiing and snowboarding as her favorite hobbies. Bruce was a four-year honor roll member in high school and is an undecided major at Colorado.
