Outdoor: Gibbs competed three times for the Buffs during the outdoor season. She cleared a season-best height of 10-6.75 at the Air Force Twilight, which was sixth overall.

AT MISSOURI: After redshirting the 2015 indoor and outdoor seasons, GIbbs posted three top-10 finishes in the pole vault during the 2016 indoor season. Gibbs opened the season at the Illinois-Iowa Border Battle, finishing sixth with a jump of 10-10. She placed third at the Missouri Invitational, jumping 11-0.25 and then posted a season-best jump at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, jumping 11-6.25. During her only outdoor season with the Tigers, she finished first at the Florida Relays, jumping 12-0.50. Gibbs placed seventh in the pole vault at the John McDonnell Invitational, clearing 12-9.Â

HIGH SCHOOL: Gibbs attended Knob Noster High where she was a member of the track and field team, softball and basketball team. She earned three letters in track and field through pole vaulting, four from softball, and another three in basketball. Gibbs was a three-time MSHSAA Track & Field Championships qualifier, and was All-State in 2013 after finishing fifth in the pole vault.

PERSONAL: Briana Michelle Gibbs was born April 23, 1996 in Tampa, Fla. She is the daughter of Ira Gibbs and Karan Hahn and has two brothers, Andrew and Michael Hahn. She loves playing with her dog, biking, traveling, and going to coffee shops.
