2022 XC: Raced in two races ... set a personal best in the 6k ... was a member of the 2022 Pac-12 Championship team.

2022 Outdoor: Raced in four races ... set a personal best in the 800 and 1500.

2022 Indoor: Redshirted.

2021 XC: Raced in the Cowboy Jamboree.

2021 Outdoor: Raced in Jerry Quiller Classic.

2020 XC: Made her black and gold debut at the FSU Winter Classic … raced to an eighth-place finish in the gold race, crossing as the fifth Buff … was CU’s No. 7 in the green race of the Battle Born Collegiate Challenge … placed 10th individual in 21:40.
 
2019 XC: Redshirt ... did not compete ... raced unattached twice during the season ... placed 19th at the Wyoming Invitational (9/6) and was eighth at the RoadRunner Invitational (10/5).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Jeffco League Cross Country Championship three straight years (2016-18) ... raced at the Colorado state meet all four years of high school, making improvements each year ... in her final state race, she recorded a top-10 finish, placing ninth overall in 18:50.3 ... placed 23rd at the NXR Southwest Regional as a junior ... owns two Lakewood High School records ... ran 18:03 in a 5k cross country race and owns the 1,600-meter record, 5:01.84, which she set at the 2019 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays ...  won both the 1,600 and 3,200 at the Jeffco League Championships as a junior ... earned numerous all-conference, league and state honors in her career ... was awarded the “Eye of the Tiger” award, which is given to the best all-around athlete (academics, character and athletics), male or female, at LHS as a senior ... biggest moment in high school came as a freshman when she won the Large School Open race at NXR Southwest in 2015 ... at the time she was only running cross country to stay fit for tennis and track, but with half a mile to go in the race, she broke away from the pack and ran down the leader. She ended up winning and knew from then on that she could be competitive in cross country.
 
HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 800-meters: 2:20.31; 1,600-meters: 5:01.84; 3,200-meters: 11:17.00.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Majoring in business with an emphasis in finance … GPA is greater than 3.5 ... 2020 Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.   
 
PERSONAL: Carley Anne Bennett ... born on August 11, 2001, in Winston-Salem, N.C. ... daughter of Mike and Annie Bennett of Lakewood, Colo. ... has one brother, Michael ... Both parents are athletes; her father was a decathlete at Northern Colorado and won the Division II national championship three times ... he went on to compete professionally and was sponsored by Mizuno ... her mother was a six-time cross country and track and field All-American at the University of Texas and won a national title in the 5,000-meter run ... she raced professionally and was sponsored at different times by Puma and Nike ... mother was the head coach for Wake Forest’s cross country and track and field programs for 12 years and her father was an assistant, working with the combined events...enjoys tennis, golfing and the outdoors.
