Indoor:
- Ran the No. 9 60m time in program history, 6.76, in his debut race for the Buffs at the Colorado Classic
- Won the 60m at the Colorado Last Chance in a time of 6.80
AT REFUGIO HIGH SCHOOL
- Played three seasons of varsity football at Refugio High School under head coach Jason Herring.
- Won the UIL 2A state 100m title as a junior (10.22) and sophomore (10.32), while also helping Refugio win the gold in the 4x100m and 4x200m relays in 2022.
- As a sophomore he was unanimously named the District 15-2A Newcomer of the Year.
- Ernest Campbell is the son of Derick and Natasha Campbell.
