2008 OUTLOOK: Evan is a transfer from Texas Christian University and was one of the top 400-meter runners in his class. Evan had a tremendous fall and looks forward to make an immediate impact in the sprints and relays this season.

2006-07 (AT TCU): Wright competed in both the 200 and 400-meter dashes at TCU. He ran a pr of 23.08 in the 200 at the Razorback Invite and tooth 44^th overall. His best time in the 400 was 49.91 at the Mountain West Conference Championships and he took 14^th in the prelims. Wright raced in the TCU distance medley relay at the MWC Championship and helped his team to a sixth-place finish (11:33.10). During the outdoor season, he ran a season best 24.31 in the 200 at the Horned Frog Invite. His top mark in the 400 was 50.07 at the TCU Invites, where he placed 16^th overall. In 2006, he only ran the indoor season. Wright ran the 400 twice with his best mark (49.64) at the Wes Kittley Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wright was a four-year letterwinner for the Blazers in track and field and played football for two years. His football team was the state runner-up in 2004. Wright was the track and field MVP in 2004 and 05. He won the state championship in the 400 in 2004 and owns the school and Legacy Stadium 400-meter record (47.23). He was named to the All-Star Track Junior and Aurora Men’s High School Athlete of the Year.

ACADEMICS: Wright is majoring in economics at Colorado and is interested in business.

PERSONAL: Evan Wright was born on August 11, 1987 to Louie and Vicki Wright in Denver. He has two sisters, Summer and Kyla. Wright lists his hobbies as music. He was a member of the OHS Student Council and worked on the yearbook.
