2007 OUTLOOK: Hannah returns for her last year of eligibility following an exceptional redshirt year where she qualified for USA Outdoor Championships in the Javelin with a throw of 159-11. She also won the collegiate section of the
2006: Warfield-Ruffatto competed in the shot put twice during the indoor season. She threw a pr of 38-11.75 at the Air Force Invite, earning 11th-place overall. She recorded a toss of 37-02.25 at the Joe Davies Open, well enough for fifth. Warfield took a redshirt during the outdoor season.
2005: Warfield-Ruffatto competed in only one event during the indoor season, taking 10th-place at the Air Force Classic shot put with a toss of 33-03. For the outdoor campaign, she participated in the javelin eight times, finishing within the top-eight each meet. She made regional qualifying marks at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (148-4) finishing second, the Ris Western-Air Force Twilight (149-10) finishing first and at the Big 12 Championships (150-7) finishing fourth.
2004: Competing in the javelin throw during the outdoor season, Warfield-Ruffatto had the top eight throws on the team. She garnered first-place finishes at the Potts Invitational and the Jack Christensen Invite. At the Big 12 Championships, she claimed sixth place with a season-high throw of 145-04.
2003: Warfield-Ruffatto competed in the discus and javelin throws during the outdoor season, while holding the top six distances on the team in the javelin throw. Her top javelin distance of the season (152-7) was a fourth-place finish at the preliminaries of the Big 12 Championships, while four other throws were good for three second place and one first place finishes. She grabbed her season-best distance in the discus throw at the Pepsi Team Invite (110-9) to earn an eighth place effort. After the collegiate season in summer competition, she became the junior national champion in the javelin and then went on to win the Junior Pan Am Championship held in
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner in both track and volleyball, Warfield-Ruffatto still holds a school record for javelin with a 149-2 throw she made May 10 of her senior year. The record was also a long for the Jockstop Meet, in which she achieved the feat, a moment she lists as the biggest moment in her career.
ACADEMICS: A political science major, she hopes for a career in international law.
