3,000 meters: 8:29.31 (2017)
Mile: 4:23.12 (2017)
2017:Â Indoor: his first season with the Buffs, Borowsky focused on the 3,000 meters. His best time came at the Husky Classic in February, where he had a time of 8:29.31.
HIGH SCHOOL: Borowsky earned four letters on the cross country team and four as a member of the track team at Stevinson High School. He is the freshman school record holder in the 800 and 1,600-meter runs, and was a part of the varsity 4x800-meter relay record team. As a senior, Borowsky won the 3,200 at the state championship, winning the Section 3A title in 9:07.47, a high school best. On the cross country course his senior year, he was second at the regional meet before placing eighth at sectionals. As a junior, Borowsky was fourth at regionals and 14th at sectionals.  Â

PERSONAL: Jared Michael Borowsky was born in Long Grove, Illinois on February 17, 1998. He is the son of Erwin and Nancy Borowsky of Buffalo Grove, Ill. He also has one sister, Alissa, who attends the University of Illinois.
