2019:
Had a strong season as a true freshman that included a seventh-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships that led him to being named the Pac-12 Men's Cross Freshman of the Year ... Was also seventh at the Mountain Region Championships ... Placed 90th overall at the NCAA Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Harrison lettered in cross country and track and field at Kirtland Central High School. A two-time New Mexico State High School individual cross country champion, Harrison led his cross country team to three-straight top-five finishes at the state meet. The Broncos placed second during his sophomore and junior years and was fourth his senior season. Harrison won his second individual title in 2018, finishing the 5k course in 15:27.35, which is a school record. He was named the Gatorade New Mexico Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year twice and won back-to-back Foot Locker West Regionals in 2017 and ’18. Harrison earned All-America honors after placing 11th at the Foot Locker National Championships as a senior. As a member of the track team, he won the state 1,600 and 3,200-meter titles his junior and senior years. Harrison is also the school record holder in both events. He ran 4:20.52 in the 1,600 at the 79th Nike Chandler Rotary and 8:58.90 in the 3,200 at the Acadia Invitational, both in 2019. During the summer of 2019, he ran a personal best in the mile (4:13.08), as well as a PR in the 3,200 (8:55.27) at the Music City Distance Carnival. Oregon, Syracuse, Oklahoma, UCLA and Portland State also recruited Harrison.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Harrison intends to major in exploratory studies, but is also interested in business.
 
PERSONAL: Kashon Sherman Harrison was born on September 9, 2000 in Farmington, New Mexico. He is the son of Vernon Harrison and Lisa Sherman and is the oldest of five children.
