High School: A four-time varsity athlete on Southern Regional’s track team, Sawczak took second place at the New Jersey state meet in pole vault her senior year, setting a personal record of 11 feet. That jump was also a school record. Sawczak also owns the indoor pole vaulting record, which she set her junior year with a height of 8-6. Sawczak also competed on the varsity gymnastics team for two years where she competed in the all-around competition.
Personal: The daughter of Jerry Sawzak and Diane Butvilla, Tracy Ann Sawczak was born on August 8, 1985. She is majoring in molecular, cellular and developmental biology at Colorado and considering medical school down the road.
