2002 Track & Field: During the indoor season, Macy ran the 3,000 meter run at the Air Force Invitational and Colorado Invitational. He ran the1,500, 3,000 and 5,000 meter runs in outdoor meets finishing fourth at the Jack Christensen Invitational in the latter.

High School: His team won "a bunch" of league championships during his prep career. He also set some cross-country course records. He was Athlete of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year during his senior campaign. Personal: Born on February 13, 1983 in Denver, Colo. to parents Mark and Pam Macy. His favorite athlete is Lance Armstrong. Macy is majoring in humanities at Colorado and is also interested in pre-med.
