2015: Indoor: Pena didn’t complete the pentathlon at the CSM Alumni Open, but she did record season bests in the 60-meter hurdles and the high jump before pulling out of the competition. She clocked in at 9.62 in the 60-hurdles and jumped 5-3.75 in the high jump. Pena recorded a personal best in the long jump at the Joe Davies Open, jumping 16-4.50 to tie for seventh. 
Outdoor: Pena competed in two heptathlons during the season. She set a personal best of 4,488 at the California Invitational for 26th overall. At the meet, Pena posted three season bests. She threw the shot put 32-0, clocked 26.63 in the 200 and finished the 800 in 2:28.16. Pena also competed at the Pac-12 Championships in the heptathlon, placing 14th overall with 4,030 points.
 
2014: Indoor: Pena competed in three pentathlons during her sophomore season. Her best finish came at the Air Force Invite (1/23) where she placed 11th with a personal best 3,205 points. Pena went on to compete at the MPSF Championship and was 15th overall with 3,190 points, just shy of her PR. She recorded personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles (9.46), shot put (32-1.50) and the 800 (2:34.74). Pena also competed individually in the high jump at the conference meet and tied for 15th with a jump of 5-2.25.  
Outdoor: Pena participated in a pair of heptathlons as a sophomore. She recorded a personal best of 4,266 points at the Mt. SAC Relays, placing 29th overall. Pena also competed at the Pac-12 Championships (4,246), which was 11th overall. She recorded three personal bests at Mt. SAC Relays in the 200 (26.93), long jump (16-5) and javelin (95-11). Pena also had a pair of season bests at the Pac-12 Championships in the 100-meter hurdles (15.43) and high jump (5-3.25).
 
2013: Indoor: Pena jumped four times in her freshman indoor season. She cleared a season-best 5-1 at three meets and then jumped 5-0.25 at the fourth competition.
Outdoor: Pena competed in five meets during the outdoor season and recorded a season-best at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular (3/30), clearing 5-4.40 which tied for sixth.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Pena earned four letters as a member of the track and field team at Lakewood High School. The Tigers were the league champs from 2010-2012.

HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: High Jump: 5-06.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Pena is an ecology and evolutionary biology major. She has a greater than 3.20 GPA.  

PERSONAL: Ewelina Maria Pena was born on June 8, 1994 in Lakewood, Colo. She is the daughter of Marek and Bronislawa Pena. She has three siblings, Iwona, Mateusz and Alina. Pena is fluent in Polish.
