2007 OUTLOOK: Mikaela has been slowed by injuries this fall, but she is back on track preparing for the long hurdles outdoor.  She will contribute in the sprints and relays.

2006: Raddatz competed in three competitions during the indoor season. She earned a first-place finish in the 500-meter dash at the Joe Davies Open to start the season. At the Air Force Invite, she earned a fifth-place finish in the 400 (58.55). Raddatz recorded a pr in the prelims with a time of 58.02. She competed in the 600 at the conference championship, earning an eighth-place finish and a spot on the podium. Raddatz recorded a pr of 1:25.72. She took a redshirt for the outdoor campaign.

2005: Putting up a strong indoor campaign, Raddatz competed in the 60, 200, 400, 600 and 800-meter races, setting personal records in all. She ran an 8.65 60-m race at the Colorado Open for ninth place and a 28.06 200-m race as well as a 63.01 400-m race at the Air Force Classic for ninth place in both. At the Big 12 Indoors, she finished 17th in the 600-m hurdles with a time of 1:28.44 and in the 800-m, ran a 2:20.44 at the Husky Classic in February. She was also a member of the 4x440 and 4x400 relay teams. At the Air Force Open they put in a 4:06.40 finish in the 4x440 and at the Colorado Open, a time of 4:12.37 in the 4x400 relay.

2004: Raddatz redshirt the indoor season. Competing in the outdoor period she ran the 200-meter dash, 100 and 400-meter hurdles, and the 4x100 and 4X400-meter relay. In her lone 200-m race she finished fourth at the Potts Invitational by posting a 27.38, while she also ran the 400-m once, earning a time of 1:02.17 (fifth place).           

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letter winner in track and field at Eastview, Raddatz was a four-time all-state and all-conference selection. She was a two-time state champion (2002-03) in the 300-meter-hurdles (43.47), establishing a regional record in 2002, and re-breaking her own record as a senior in 2003. She also claimed regional and conference records in the 4x400 relay as a sophomore in 2001. Raddatz also lettered in basketball and soccer, piling up section championships in 2000 and 2003 for basketball and 2003 in soccer.

ACADEMICS: A five-time Dean’s List and six-time Commissioner’s Honor Roll student, Raddatz carries a 3.61 grade point average in sociology.

PERSONAL: Mikaela Marie Raddatz was born July 20, 1985 in Fargo, N.D. She is the daughter of Larry and Terry Raddatz. Larry participated in track and field at North Dakota State, and uncle, Chad Sheets, played baseball at North Dakota State. She lists running, basketball, soccer and being with friends as her interests.
