2018-19 (Grad.) – Nist was a solid addition to the Buffs in her final season of eligibility, playing in all 10 regular season contests. She ranked fifth on the team in overall stroke average (77.07), which included a 76.87 average in the fall. Her best showing in the fall was a 6-over 220 at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview. She shot rounds of 70-76-74, which put her in a tied for 18th. In the spring, Nist’s best outing was at the PING/ASU Invitational. She earned a 223, a 7-over, with rounds of 76-73-74.
At Oregon State: Nist finished her career at Oregon State with a scoring average of 75.15, the third best in school history. In 65 rounds played, she had four top-10 finishes and four sub-par rounds. Her best score was a 3-under 69 in the third round of the Rose City Collegiate as a sophomore and her best three-round score was a 2-under 214, also at the Rose City Collegiate where she tied for third place. In 2016, she was selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention team.
High School: Nist earned four letters on the golf team at Bishop Kelly High School and helped her team to three state titles. Individually, Nist won the 2013 and 2014 4A state title and two district titles. She also ran on the cross country team and earned two letters in the sport.
Other: Nist owns a pair of junior/amateur course records. She shot a 66 at McCall Golf Course and 63 at The Club at SpurWing. Nist qualified for the Junior PGA Championships and the Big I National Championship. She was also a member of the 2013 Junior America’s Cup team and the 2014 Mary Cave Cup Team. Nist won the Idaho State Women’s Amateur twice, once in 2014 and again in 2018.

Academics: Nist is currently pursuing a master of science in real estate.
Personal: Haley Nist was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, to Tom and Andrea Nist. She has two sisters, Emily and Caroline. Nist enjoys running and skiing.
