Takamasa Sakamoto returned to Colorado after returning for a stint at Ohio State. He worked with the women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams for the Buckeyes.
Takamasa Sakamoto is in his fifth year as an assistant athletic trainer with the University of Colorado Sports Medicine program.
Sakamoto joined Colorado after one year at Ohio State University, where he served as an intern from 2014-15.
He earned his bachelors of science degree in athletic training from the University of Alabama in 2012 and in 2014, Sakamoto received his masters of education in exercise science from Wichita State University.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Sakamoto enjoys hiking and playing golf.
