2019-20 (Senior): Was the lone senior on the roster…started 24 of her 28 games played…matched a career-high with 31 steals…set a career-high with 57 assists…averaged 6.3 points per game…went over 700 career points with an 11-point performance against Arizona State…totaled a season-high 22 points in CU’s 79-75 win at Colorado State…closes career with 722 career points (6.4 ppg), 159 assists, 104 steals and 322 rebounds.

2018-19 (Junior): Caylao-Do started all 30 games for Colorado, averaging a career-high 32.6 minutes per game. She was selected the team’s Defensive MVP for the second consecutive season and earned Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honorable mention. She posted career-highs with 11.1 ppg and 1.7 apg. She more than doubled her scoring output with 333 points on the season. She scored in double figures 15 times this season, including a career-high 23 points in CU’s opener against Northern Colorado. She had her best Pac-12 performance against Arizona, totaling 21 points. She averaged 15.5 ppg in the Buffs three games at the Nevada Nugget Classic, earning All-Tournament honors. She twice handed out six assists against Stanford (1/25) and Southern California (2/10), marking a career-high.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Caylao-Do made 22 starts and played in 24 games as a guard, enjoying a breakout sophomore season. She was selected as the team’s Defensive MVP as a result of her efforts on the perimeter defense. She averaged 6.3 points and 2.9 rebounds, totaling 150 points, 70 rebounds, 34 assists and 21 steals. Noted by head coach JR Payne as the team’s most improved player during the offseason, Caylao-Do exploded for a career-high 18 points in the season opener. She hit three 3-pointers in the middle of a fourth-quarter comeback of the 71-60 win at Samford on Nov. 10. She then had nine points in an overtime loss at North Carolina on Nov. 12. Caylao-Do broke a bone in her left hand on Nov. 18 in a win over No. 24 Miami (Fla.), missing the next seven games. It took a while to find her stroke again on the offensive end, though she managed a seven-point, six-assist performance in her hometown of Seattle on Jan. 7, leading the Buffs to another come-from-behind win at Washington. She returned to form on Feb. 11 at No. 17/21 Stanford, scoring 16 points and grabbing five rebounds. She then had 11 points in a win at home over Washington State on Feb. 18, and scored 11 again in a win over Utah in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament, averaging 10.7 points over a six-game stretch late in the season.
 
2016-17 (Freshman): Caylao-Do played in 30 games and made two starts as a true freshman, averaging 2.1 points and 1.4 rebounds. She totaled 64 points, 41 rebounds, 21 steals and 17 assists on the season. She scored her first career points in a win at North Dakota State on Nov. 22, pouring in five points on 2-of-4 shooting and adding the first two assists of her career. She also had five points in a win over Idaho State on Dec. 3. Caylao-Do scored a season-high six points and also had a season-high six rebounds in the first Pac-12 game of the year at Southern California on Dec. 30. She matched her season high of six points and had three steals at Washington State on Feb. 25 and scored five points in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament on March 2, also against WSU. In her first career start on March 19 at South Dakota State in the second round of the WNIT, she had four points and a season-high five assists in an overtime victory.
 
High School: A standout guard during her prep career, Caylao-Do graduated from Bellevue High School and helped guide Bellevue to the Washington State 3A Championship during her senior year where the team posted a perfect 29-0 record on its way to claiming the title. Caylao-Do earned four varsity letters and collected her first three playing for Todd Beamer High School before moving schools ahead of her senior season. As a junior, Caylao-Do averaged 13.5 points per game and played a pivotal role during her team’s State Tournament run. She scored a game-high 18 points as she led Todd Beamer to a program-best third place finish at the 2015 Class 4A State Girls’ Basketball Tournament with a 27-2 record after making two straight appearances in the district title game (2013, 14). As a sophomore, Caylao-Do helped her team to a 24-3 record while averaging 10.9 points and her team was 20-6 during her freshman campaign, where she averaged 13.2 points per game. A 2016 second team all-state selection and 2015 first-team selection, the 5-8, guard also has experience competing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league as she spent one summer playing on the Tree of Hope AAU team.
 
Academics: Caylao-Do is majoring in communication.
 
Personal: Quinessa Caylao-Do, also known as “Q”, was born on Dec. 16, 1997 and is the daughter of Tien and Karen. She has two younger siblings, Ashtien (5) and Bentley (4). After college, she would like to play in the WNBA or work as an agent. Caylao-Do lists winning a State title as the biggest moment of her high school career.
