2000-01 – Van Wyk finished her career with her best stroke average of 82.20 as a senior, competing in 10 rounds over four tournaments. Her 3-under 69 in the second round of the Mountain View Classic in February tied the lowest score in CU history and she finished the tournament tied for 12th, the highest finish of her career.

1999-00 – She entered her first conference championship by virtue of a one-stroke win over teammate Jaime Fundingsland in the team's qualifier. She brough an 82.77 stroke average into Lubbock, which was almost a full-stroke improvement over her sophomore season. She played in eight tournaments in her third season at CU compared to three as a sophomore and more than half of her tournament rounds (14-of-25) counted towards team scoring. She was named Academic All-Big 12 second team.

1998-99 – Van Wyk played in eight rounds, and finished a season best 30^th at the Mountain View Classic in Tucson when she shot a 162 on the 5,950 yard, 72-par course over 36 holes. During the summer she finished tied for third at the State Stroke Play Championships when she shot a 76-79-75 – 230 (+11) on the par-73 Collindale Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colo. Her finish was three strokes off the lead as 227 won the tournament.

1997-98 – Showed flashes of brilliance while averaging 83.57 strokes over 21 tournament rounds. She recorded Colorado’s then-lowest-ever score, a 73, at the Brigham Young Invitational.

High School – Lettered four years on the girls’ golf team at Heritage for coach Bill Ogg. The team won the state championship her freshman and sophomore seasons (when she was joined on the squad by CU teammate Michelle Thomas) and earned runner-up honors her junior and senior seasons. She was an honorable mention all-state selection her junior and senior years, and was named the winner of Heritage’s Leadership Award both years as well. She also participated in basketball as a center, earning two letters.

Personal – Born August 30, 1979, in Englewood, Colo., Van Wyk has plans for an eventual career as a speech pathologist. Two brothers participated in college athletics: Trevor in baseball at Mesa State and Lamar University and Andy in basketball at the School of Mines.

In the Classroom – Van Wyk carries a respectable 3,242 grade point average in communication disorders after six semesters. She was on hte Dean's List throughout her junior year.
