Career: Hampered by injuries throughout her career, DeTomasi was on the CU golf team for four years, initially taking a redshirt season in 2008-09 but not returning for her fifth season after graduating from the school in four years. She did not see any tournament action.
2011-12 (Jr.): DeTomasi did not see action during her junior season at Colorado.
2010-11 (So.): DeTomasi did not see action during her sophomore season at Colorado.
2009-10 (Fr.-RS): DeTomasi did not see action in her redshirt freshman season at Colorado.
2008-09 (Fr.): DeTomasi chose to redshirt her first season at Colorado.
High School: DeTomasi lettered in golf all four years at Acalanes High School under coach Tim Scott. A first team all-league selection as a junior and a second team all-league selection as a senior, she helped the Dons to a Diablo Foothill Athletic League Championship in 2006 and 2008. In the spring of her junior year, DeTomasi traveled across the country to attend the IMG/David Leadbetter Academy in order to improve her golf game in preparation for college. DeTomasi owns a personal-best 78 at her home course, the Diablo Country Club. Her best career round in competition was an 82, which she shot in the Bay Cities tournament at the Santa Clara Country Club in California.
Academics: She graduated from Colorado with a degree in Sociology. In high school, she was the recipient of four academic athlete awards in high school.
Personal: Cristina DeTomasi was born on January 25, 1990 in San Mateo, Calif. She is the daughter of Mario and Lia DeTomasi of Lafayette, Calif. She has an older sister, Gina. Her hobbies include cooking and riding horses. She was recruited by San Francisco and Santa Clara but chose Colorado because of the coaches, the campus life, her teammates and the city of Boulder.
