1999-00 – She capped her career with a career-best stroke average of 81.21 as a senior in 19 rounds. Fundingsland shot a season-best 76 in both rounds of the Heather Farr Memorial in September to finished tied for 23rd place, her highest career finish. For the season, she had three rounds in the 70s and 14 of her rounds counted towards the team score.

1998-99 – Fundingsland shaved more than four strokes off her season average from her sophomore year, averaging 82.21 strokes per round in 19 tournament rounds, 10 of which counted towards scoring. She just missed her first collegiate top-20 finish when her two-round total 160 at the Mountain View Classic in Tucson, Ariz., put her in 25th place. During the summer, she played in the U.S. Western Am Public Links Championship in Santa Pueblo, N.M. She fired a first-round 82 and second-round 84 in stroke play, but failed to qualify for match play.

1997-98 – Played in 14 tournament rounds, 11 as a member of the Buffs’ traveling squad and three as an individual in the Colorado Invitational, averaging a much-improved 85.79 strokes per round.

1996-97 – Played in three tournaments, seeing eight rounds of competition. She was one of four Buffs to earn academic all-Big 12 honors.

High School: If there was a championship to secure or an honor to win in North Dakota, odds are Fundingsland did so in her four-year scholastic and golf career. Fundingsland and the girls’ golf team at Minot won the state championship each of her four years at the prep level (1992-95), and Fundingsland made the team victories even sweeter by claiming top individual honors at the 1994 ad 1995 state tournaments (the latter of which saw her shoot 74-73 – 147 to both claim a first-place finish and shatter the old tournament record by 15 shots). She finished second in the state as a sophomore and 11th as a freshman, and was the team’s captain as a junior and senior. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society, the Key Club, Medical Explorers, the Spanish Club, the Art Club and the Pep Club at Minot, Fundingsland found enough time left over to graduate first in her class with a perfect 4.0 gpa.

Other – Fundingsland has claimed a bevy of awards and honors in her career to date, a collection which includes the two individual state championships, the 1994 and 1995  North Dakota Junior state championships, the 1995 Independent Insurance Junior Classic championship, a third-place finish in the 1995 North Dakota State Women’s Amateur and her selection to the aa-Western Dakota Association Conference team form 1992-95. She was also selected as a KXMC-TV Female Athlete-of-the-Week during both her junior and senior high school campaigns.

Personal: Born October 12, 1977, in Minot, N.D. “Fundo” (her nickname by high school friends and teammates) was also recruited by Oklahoma State, but chose Colorado because she “liked the golf program and the people associated with it.” Her career-best round is a 69.

In the Classroom – Jaime is a psychology major and will bring a 3.152 gpa into her final year. She earned Academic All-Big 12 honors three years.
