2003-04: Footlik wrapped up her CU career with an 82.69 stroke average in 13 rounds over five tournaments. She shot a season-best 76 in the second round of the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in September and had four rounds in the 70s for the season.

2002-03:  Redshirt.  Did not compete.

2001-02:  Footlik's improvement from her freshman to sophomore seasons was up there with Fellhauer's.  She shaved more than two strokes off her fall strokes per average (78.4) compared to her freshman season 80.6 headed into the Big 12 Championships was two less than her freshman season (82.00).  She played in eight tournaments compared to four in 2000-01, attributing the improvement to and increased confidence level and mental strength that she has gained from, of all things, yoga. Footlik was an Honorable Mention Academic All-Big 12 selection.  Following the school year she qualified (as an alternate) to go to the Women's Public Links in Oregon, but didn't play due to her internship commitment with Teen Magazine.  She also played in the Arizona Women's Open in Phoenix.

2000-2001:   Footlik carded a career-low round 75 in the second round of her first collegiate tournament. That round was the fifth lowest single round score on the team during the season.  She came out of her collegiate christening carrying a respectable 82.00 strokes per average.  Her best overall finish was a 32nd-place effort in the season opener, the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic in Fort Collins, Colo.  Three of her nine rounds during her freshman campaign contributed to the Buffs' team score.  All but one round was played during the fall season.

High School:  A four-year letterwinner for National Coach of the Year Donna Pierce, Footlik was a member of Highland Park's 1998, 1999 and 2000 UIL Conference and 4A State Championship teams.  As a freshman she was Highland Park's No. 5 player, and took over the No. 2 position her sophomore through senior seasons.  As a sophomore she was a second-team all-state performer and the most improved player on the team.  She was a first-team all-district, region and second-team all-state athlete her junior and senior seasons.

Other:  The Biggest moment of her golfing career was when she was pulled from the crowd on the ninth hole by D.A. Weidring at the '96 Masters to attempt a 40-foot putt, which came within an inch of the cup.  This past summer she was a championship flight contestant when she had a top-16 finish in the Colorado Match Play Championship at Rolling Hills CC in Golden, Colo.

Best Career Round In Competition:  74, Future Collegians World Tour, Barton Creek Golf Course (Austin, Texas).

Personal:  Jennifer Ann Footlik was born April 10, 1982 in Denver.  She is the daughter of Marc and Lucy (a CU graduate) Footlik of Dallas and the older sister of 6-year-old Sam.  Her father designed a golf course in Flower Mound, Texas.  Her maternal great grandmother was an LPGA member and Jen is the first family member since to follow in the golf tradition.  Her uncle, Peter Bauer, was a member of CU's ski team from 1975-79 when the Buffs won their sixth, seventh and eighth national championships.  Another uncle, Bob Bauer, swam at Hobart.

In The Classroom:  Footlik is a psychology major with a better than 3.0 grade point average.  She studied abroad in Thailand last spring.
